Hank is a constant source of amazement for me – today he informed me that his friend is voting for Trump and he told him he is voting for Biden because Trump is a bad person. I asked how he knew that Fearless was not a good role model and he responded by telling me that is what Ooma and I always say. He is correct in voting for Biden and he obviously listens to our conversations. Hank also informed me that he told his friend I was a retired Dentist. I told him that I was not a Dentist and he then asked “how do you know I should brush my teeth for two minutes?” He had me there – but the point is our kids and grandchildren look to us for accurate information and, to the extent possible, explanations of why. Fortunately, we found a new subject to discuss as we drove home.
I later watched a part of the Biden town hall and what I could stomach of our Fearless leader rambling and lying to us. I then spent some time listening to the pundits evaluate the candidates. The term “horse pucky” came up as Rachel Maddox talked about the many falsehoods uttered by POTUS before and during his town hall. The term is widely understood as referring to nonsense. Where do you even start to outline the “pucky” or whatever euphemistic substitute for “bulls…..” you prefer. —’Gold Star families may be to blame for his infection, QAnon is a group that is just against pedophilia, we have the greatest economy in the history of our country, voting and election fraud are rampant, Russia did not interfere in the last election, 85% of the people that wear masks contract the virus, herd immunity is an excellent plan, Biden and Harris did not wish me good health upon my diagnosis, Obama had Seal Team 6 eliminated because they did not really kill Osama Bin Laden (it was a body double), we have done a tremendous job at containing the virus’…..gobsmacking. Normally such a series of lies and misdirection would leave one astonished, amazed or suddenly so surprised as to be unable to speak. Not so last night – it was just the ‘situation normal’ we have come to expect this craziness. Let’s remember Hank’s analysis, our Fearless leader is a bad person.
