I trust most of you have had the opportunity to have a health exam that includes a scope. My 5 year time was due and I went through the 4 days of diet modification and final day on liquid only. I am a fan of jello but would not normally only eat that for an entire day. The lime one may be the best? There is some comfort when the Exam is over and the results are good. As you know, you need a driver, and thanks to Karen I made it home safely. That night my wonderful granddaughter, Margie, brought me cookies and helped me eat them. As she was leaving, she gave me a hug and hesitantly asked what the test was about. As I tried to give an accurate but thoughtful response, she blurted out “so the Doctor put a camera up your butt”. I had to laugh and that gave her permission to guffaw at will. I since have learned that Mom explained the procedure to Hank and Margie and that is the cliff notes version. The truth will set us free and hopeful add some humor to our lives.

Miss Piggy represents “elements like self-confidence, female empowerment, and the balance of seemingly contradictory traits such as being both strong and vulnerable. She embodies a feminist icon who challenges stereotypes by being assertive, ambitious, and in control of her own image and career, while also embracing a desire for love and a glamorous, yet authentic self. Miss Piggy does have egocentric traits, which, unlike the Tangerine Taco, she overcomes. Unlike our current President, there is no character on Sesame Street with no redeeming qualities.
