I struggled to find a topic that is not a re hash of all of the current events and speculation if the Orange Wanker has gone over the edge. While the War kinda rages on, the Strait is still blocked and now double blocked. Misinformation and outright lies are still the order of the day. According to the Wanna be Jesus, we already won the War and he did not agree to the Iranian 10 point plan. I get the impression that even #47 is not really sure what is fact or fiction and that he does not really care. Epstein is still looming and the Court’s keep handing down losses on the multitude of law suits. I especially appreciate the Judge who reminded him that he was the steward of the White House, not the owner. I am sure there will be lots of appeals but he may need to restore it to its historic beauty.
The Pope has remained on the high ground while so many of the sycophants try to justify The Orange POTUS’s ridiculous position. As an aside, the chameleon Vance, a Catholic convert is trying to explain why he is questioning Pope Leo. Vance is not exactly on a role with his negotiating skills producing the opposite of positive results. Orban is gone and Iran has not surrendered in spite of his exceptional efforts. I won’t remind us about the price of gas, rising inflation, jobs recession, and the lowest consumer confidence level ever reported….I could go on but to wrap up—Anus Tangerinus is a disaster is progress.
You likely know that #47 hates, fears is paranoid about snakes. If you have listened to his nearly 9 minute ramble just before Xmas about the vipers in Peru. He claims 28,000 people die each year from that venom of that creature, fact check shows it is likely 2,150 encounters per year with only10 reported deaths from 2000 to 2015. The mad King also may suffer from galeophobia, “an irrational, intense, and persistent fear of sharks”. Since he does not sleep at night, this probably will not keep him up, but in the next few months there are 11 new “Insane Shark movies released or in production-the reviewer opined, “so bad they might be good.” I feel the major haunting remains the inevitable full release of the Epstein files.
Karen and I started feeding the birds again. We have two feeders and have a daily gaggle of various birds eating seeds and getting a drink from the fountain. We have enjoyed several groups of travelers heading north I suppose and many quail, doves, and squirrels. The squirrels are very smart and tenacious but our clever hanging spots have relegated them to clean up crew. The picture this week is a Merriam turkey, she curls up in the bushes under the feeder and drinks from the pond. She goes nameless but we are concerned that she is running unattached, no mate. The bird makes the most interesting sounds and is bothered by nothing except Mmma, our dog who sends her flying occasionally. It is a joy to watch her launch off the railing and glide gracefully to a nesting tree in the Canyon. I realize we are not supposed to feed the turkey but she really is feeding herself.
The turkey is a noble bird. When I say the Orange Wanker is a turkey it should not be construed as a term of endearment. The name is a “negative idiom used to describe someone as naive, inept, stupid, a failure, or a dud”. In the case of POTUS, he has all of those basically benign traits and much worse; he cannot tell the truth, lacks empathy, is self absorbed, beyond narcissistic and thrives on retribution. I cannot mention one redeeming quality he exhibits. The Orange guy better hope we never get even with him.
We have our own problems in Idaho. I mentioned the Pride flags and bathroom rules last week. This week the Governor signed off on blessing Turning Point USA’s “Club America” in Idaho schools. The last thing I would support and not just because I am WOKE is the indoctrination of high school students in Charlie Kirk’s philosophy. Our crack Legislature passed a law that bars staff from displaying flags or banners that “promote political, religious, or ideological view points” it goes on to include “political ideologies”. How is it ok to endorse these far right leaning groups into our public schools. Please go to the polls and vote for common sense candidates.
