I get the feeling that the Orange Wanker must feel like repeating a line from the immortal Young Frankenstein movie. Gene Wilder has recaptured his creation and has him locked in a room. He tells his team that he believes he can connect with the thing and to lock him in the room—“No matter what you hear in there, no matter how cruelly I beg you, no matter how terribly I may scream, do not open this door….” This bravado is immediately followed by “…Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. What’s the matter with you people? I was joking!!” The monster of his creation, the Iran war, is a nightmare for the Orange Deal breaker and his regime. The ego that fostered; the Epstein saga, Election fraud claims, putting his name on anything that he deems appropriate, Obama and Biden blaming, the new Communist witch hunt, profiting illicitly while in office, largest crowds ever, immigrants eating pets, fake news, everything is a hoax,….relies on lies, threats, retribution, and misdirection. Our monster in office is a cruel human being and his personal story will not have a happy ending. Our country and the world are paying the price for his unchecked behavior.
Immigration has been a tremendous boon to the United States, not only economically but culturally. A recent article posted in the New York Times traces the Roots of National Immigration over the history of the country. In l776 there were about 1.5 million Native people who had been joined by about 3 million Europeans and enslaved Africans. 250 years later, after over 100 million immigrants representing over 200 nationalities our Country has reached 340 million citizens. There were many unique circumstances that brought Immigrants to our Country. The African’s were enslaved and brought here to work the Plantations. The Basque families came West in search of fortune during the gold rush, they turned to sheep herding and stayed—Boise and our country is much stronger for their commitment to family, community and their culture. Vietnam refugees settled near New Orleans and Houston, they netted shrimp as they had done in their native land. Chaldean’s-Iraqi Christians came to work on the assembly line at Ford in Detroit. I would point out that the national unemployment rate at the end of Biden’s term was below 4%, including the nearly 8 million immigrants who fled to our country to escape oppressive conditions in Central America, Cuba, the war in Ukraine and other unstable countries. Over 20% of the citizens of much of California, Texas and Arizona are Mexican, should be no surprise as they lived here long before there was a southern border.
The replacement theory premise I have written about in the past, is a bit late in its efforts to protect the pure white nation. Several articles point to less than 60% of the current U S population as white. Our nation in 2024 remains at 15% of the U. S population as immigrants, in spite of 50 million joining our country from 1970 to 2024. This is the same percentage as recorded in the 1910 census but up from 5% in 1970 statistics. The article Titled “How a Nation of Immigrants Traces its Roots” by Sun, Adelson, and Buchanan describes our country—“melting pot, tapestry, mosaic, kaleidoscope, salad bowl. Every cliche is true.” ‘If you blend the over 200 unique identities represented, as our 340 million resident do, we arrive at a jumbled, overlapping, story filled infinity.’
There is no evidence to my knowledge that suggests one race is mentally superior to another. No justification for taking advantage of a physically weaker or less educated population rather than offering a hand up. I truly hope that our better Angels find a way to right our ship and proudly fly every flag at full mast.
Just so we do not take our eye off the climate crisis. Boise experienced a rapidly growing foothills fire that engulfed over 6000 acres before being brought under control. There are fires burning across our country and the water situation in the Colorado River Basin is critical. The river is so low that there is a danger that the electrical turbines will not be operational due to lack of flow. The chickens in France are dying from the heat. It will be 116 degrees in several of our south western cities this week end and Charlotte in the East is projected to hit 111 degrees, add the humidity and it is dangerous to human health. So, it makes perfect sense that the Orange Wanker would be investing our tax dollars, over $2.5 billion, to buy back the options for offshore wind projects. The funding directs the companies to pursue conventional projects like natural gas and oil. This is not in the best interests of our planet.
