Everyone on Earth would likely be able to tell you about the black hole phenomenon in our universe. “Black holes are regions of space where gravity is so extreme that nothing, not even light-the fastest thing in the universe-can escape.. A recent Newsweek article posed the question, “…is there a possibility that planet Earth will ever be pulled into a black hole? Experts seemed to agree, the probably is practically zero for the Earth to crash into a black hole before it is swallowed by the sun in around five billion years’ time. That is a comfort, I suppose.
It seems to me that we are plummeting into a black hole of our own making each day. It has taken the January 6 committee months to find the truth around the “big lie” and its perpetrators. We learn more each day about the Coup attempt that failed and the role of former Fearless Leader clearly played. I was considering a conclusion that our X had some leadership skills, not so. Turns out he is just an intimidator and a bully who will say anything that he believes will further his cause and keep him in power. The lives he destroyed without a second thought tell the real story. I am frightened that one person can create his own “black hole” that sucks the light out of the truth and twists and contorts the facts. As concerning are those who still chose to support him. Gravity is so extreme in a black hole, it may be what attracts and holds the MAGA crowd.
I learned a lot reading about the unique galactic terminology. The event horizon describes the point where the gravitational pull of the black hole is inescapable. As the object in the pull spirals downward it is subject to spaghetification, stretching powers so intense than no object can withstand the gravitational distruction. The solar waves and the friction created drive the temperatures in the plasma ring to millions of degrees Celsius. Interesting as the temperature inside the object are very negative. The evaluation of the impacts reminded me of the re entry of objects in our own atmosphere.
I am more comfortable that justice will be served in the case of our X President and his minions and allies. The event horizon that circles our democracy will attract and ultimately overcome the forces that spout lies, misinformation, self service and hatred. Liberty for all is a powerful mission and I encourage each of us to insist our elected officials champion and defend this grand notion. The Ukranian people are willing to give their lives to protect their independence. I hope each of us have the same strength of commitment and character demonstrated each day on the battle field.
